McDonald’s says to launch anti-COVID check-in system in Moscow

MOSCOW, Nov 2 (PRIME) -- Fast food restaurant chain McDonald’s will launch a check-in system within a week as a part of the anti-COVID measures in its Moscow outlets, the company said on Monday in a statement.

“The company will be joining the check-in program of the Moscow government, whose goal is to fight against expansion of the coronavirus with informing on potential contacts with those contracted COVID-19,” McDonald’s said.

“The check-in system will be introduced gradually during the coming week and will work in all 189 McDonald’s restaurants in Moscow, including those in malls.”

Moscow introduced the check-in system on October 19 for nightclubs and venues opened from 12 a.m. till 6 a.m.
